pre order 5pack 762x39 mags
As the first time buying from ASC I was not sure how good it would be buying a hundred dollar 'pre order' from them. It turned out to be ok and they shipped the pack before the detailed pre order shipment timeframes. The mags work and were new as specified which is nice since this caliber mag is harder to find than 556.

I havent been able to run anything yet however I have been able to cycle with the charging handle, the mags fall out nicely when ejected with no problems, highly recommend these

Well well well how things have changed
Out of desperation on finding mags, I bought some ASC knowing I would have to modify. Surprised that ASC has made some changes! The center of mag or the bend has been fattened up a bit so no more gritty grinding when pushing down and letting up .. feeding is smoother now. I will assume they're current stock is being modified. The back edge was pulled apart a bit then spot welded. Of course this caused some warping along edge. They will need to make new stamps to accommodate the new geometry. Top feed does need a little work but nothing like it used to be. I beveled the feed ramp end as well but I do that to all of them. The two top flaps have been changed to be more like c-p mags at least on one end but I did bend the other slightly on the back portion for smoother feed and left the other side alone .. a catch and glide slide. No issues with these 5 mags between two BCA uppers on a 80%. The back edge has bare metal from they're modification.. don't care, they work now. Black coat is still a matte finish which is fine, I don't like glossy in the field, shiny not good for camo *cough* c-prod. Thank you ASC! For turning things around. Definitely getting more when your in stock.
