ASC 1911 magazines for short-frame M1911 pistols
Without .45acp ammo or dummy rounds I can't check feeding function, but insertion and drop-free work flawlessly. They also lock open the action 100% of the times tried, and in my opinion they are better in all respects than the Colt magazines. The base is removable so there are no problems of cleaning the mags or replacing the spring, follower or base plate. And the price of the ASC STS mags is less that half of the Colt mags. These are the best 1911 mags I have ever seen or used. I can hardly wait to rum them at the range.
